President Deguchi has made a significant recovery thanks to his rehabilitation, and from January he will be able to attend some meetings online from his home in Tokyo.
He still has some speech impediments and uses a wheelchair, so he is not yet fully recovered, but he is working on his rehabilitation with the goal of returning to campus in April.
A notice concerning he President’s return, including a message from him, has been posted on APU’s official website.
