10th Anniversary Event by Philippine Chapter
February 15, 2014, the APU Alumni Association in thePhilippinescelebrated the 10th year anniversary of the establishment of the APU Alumni Association. It was held at the Mesclun Café, Linden Suites, in Ortigas,Pasig. Alumni Association Members and Former Exchange Students came to attend the celebration. Dr. Robert Salazar, APS professor, gave a very inspiring speech. He updated the alumni members about the developments and milestones of APU. He also highlighted the importance of looking back and remembering how APU has honed its students to become what they are today. Dr. Melvin Jabar (Batch 2004 and 2012), Chapter President, welcomed the participants by sharing his insights regarding the importance of having the 10 year anniversary celebration. Mr. Mamert Manus (Batch 2004 and 2005) responded to the call for APU alumni members to be the best of who they can be. To close the event, Ms. Kaori Honda (Batch 2005), shared how APU has expanded her network and how APU helped her to become a global citizen.
Ms. Kissa Castaneda-McDermott (Batch 2005) hosted the ceremony.
