The APU Alumni Achievement Award was established to acknowledge and support the efforts of outstanding APU graduates working hard around the world.
The Award aims to support and encourage the activities of alumni who are contributing to society in keeping to the founding principles of APU, namely, “freedom, peace and humanity”, “international mutual understanding” and “the future shape of the Asia Pacific region”.
RECIPIENT : Megarini Puspasari(’06 APM)
REASON : The organization “Hoshizora” at which Ms. Puspasari is the representative conducts activities to support children in achieving their aspirations. These actions are in keeping with the ideals of APU.
RECIPIENT : Kenta Seki (’06 APS)
REASON : “Dreams club”, the organization which Mr. Seki represents teaches English to children in orphanages and introduces them to various global cultures through interaction with APU graduates of various nationalities. Through these activities that embody the spirit of APU, Dreams club continues to nurture the future of the Asia Pacific region.
